How to Make a Killing

Drama Thriller

Becket Redfellow grew up estranged from his wealthy family, but decides that he'll claim the inheritance he feels he deserves by any means necessary.

"How to Make a Killing" is a run-of-the-mill film that holds absolutely no surprises. Our leading man has zero chemistry with any of his castmates, and although he does his best to convince us he's lived a hard life, there's something disingenuous about his performance, which makes his characterisation unconvincing and unsympathetic. The plot setup leaves no room for revelations along the way, and everything unfolds as expected. Even the final "reveal" is lacklustre, making the whole production feel generic. Money really does buy happiness.
